Sligo to Knock and Cliffs of Moher

We left Sligo this morning and headed south to Knock where we stopped for coffee and a little stroll.  We arrived in Galway about 1 hour later and spent 2 hours walking the streets, checking out the little shops, spending lots of money on souvenirs and having lunch!  What a wonderful little town indeed!  Next we crossed the limestone plateau of The Burren to visit the 668 foot Cliffs of Moher.  Lucky spotted a castle he wanted to inhabit and also required a small breakfast scone while we were in Knock.  He is getting pretty demanding but he is just so loveable:)  We spent the evening having a traditional Irish Dinner in the setting of a village barn with wine and entertainment.  The Irish Dancers and singers were stunning.  Back to the hotel in Ennis for yet another couple of pints in the hotel bar with all our new friends.
